Run 40 at UWF was a Masterpiece!

Longshanks (Jehan Clark) and Just Richard (Dickinson) hared a Trail up in the woods at UWF.  There was the right amount of Shiggy, water to cross and long distance switchbacks.  The only challenge was that the 3 mile Trail for the Eagles (runners) was more likely 5 to 6 miles… in fact, all the Turkeys (walkers) were sitting at the On In drinking the beer when the runners finally arrived.  Luckily, the Hares were very good Beer Meisters and there was enough of the Golden Nectar to satisfy all.

At the Circle, several were recognized for Blood On Trail.  Snoopy and Bee Haven (Walter Hamilton) were called out for Potty Break On Trail and the Hares for not using ANY Toilet Paper to mark a Shiggy Trail.

Right when the GM was ready to close the Circle, there was a movement to name Just Tara (Milstead) since she was long overdue. 

Henceforth and forever more, she shall be known as Meatball Sampler.

We reconvened at Ozone’s for our On After and had about 24 join us at the social. 

Our next run, #41 is setting up nicely for a start at the Crown Plaza Pensacola Grand parking lot near the intersection of N. 8th Ave and E. Wright St.  Just look for the Windfeather.  We’ll meet at 3:30 and run at 4 PM.  The Hares are Johnny Steel (Ben Bogan) and Meatball Sampler (Tara Milstead).  Please come join us.  On On!!
