Wow, what a run! The pack was around 150 runners for the St Patrick’s Day Hash and the miracle of the night was that the Hash Volunteers who cooked Corned Beef and Cabbage, Irish Stew, Corn Bread, and provided Beer and Dinner Rolls had enough to feed the hungry crowd. The Hares, Viva Banana and Foot Long laid the perfect 5K trail and had green beads, lucky coins and the occasional Pint of Guinness along the trail. There was Irish Music, lots of green clothing a few prizes for some of the group and lots and lots of Virgin Hashers. All, runners and walkers alike, completed the trail and had nothing but smiles and compliments for the East Hill Hash. The circle was short, but effective and revelry continued until past 9:30 PM. We had the good fortune of more than a handful of visiting Hashers, and the priviledge of naming two from our own stable. Hillary Keeton is now Ne’er Hare and Eryn Redmonel is now Ticket to Ride. On a sadder note, we also said our farewell to Thirsty III, as this was his last Hash with EH H3 for some time. He is on his way to a new duty assignment in Phoenix and will be sorely missed. Congrats and “Hash Well”, my friend!
